It is deer season here in PA. I can't wait to get all that fresh venison...hopfeully if hubby is sucessful in hunting.

We eat lots of fresh game meat. We just had fresh pheasant and quail. My brother and husband big hunters and we eat what they take.

We had a wild turkey for Thanksgiving.

Only thing I don't care for too much is duck and goose. My husband loves to go duck and goose hunting, and I never know what to do with the meat. Most of time we take the goose meat and make jerky out of it. Goose jerky is pretty good.

If anyone has ideas or recipes for goose/duck I would love to try it.
