This is probably a dumb question but here goes...
Is it better to exercise on an empty stomach, or is it better to have breakfast first? I work shift work and work 2pm til 11pm, so mornings are the only time I get. I'm not a gym goer, just walk the dog at the beach for 1-1 1/2 hrs a few days a week Thanks Rosy

Eating direct blood flow to the stomach and intestines.

Depending on the amount of food and intensity of exercise, eating may give you issues. The 1 hour gap before swimming works for most exercise.

When I ran in the morning, I ran without eating - then started my day. That included 2-3 hour jogs. When running at noon or 3-5 PM, eating was all afterwards.
