Default 3rd time lucky............

Hello!
This is my 3rd attempt at Atkins. I know I CAN do it - I got down to my target weight on my first attempt - but found it really hard to increase my carbs without giving in to cravings . My second attempt was quite hopeless but this time I am motivated by the fact that I only want to lose 14 lbs and that I want to look great for new year!!!!

I will try really hard to keep motivated this time and not just see it as a quick fix but as a WOL - any suggestions?

When you increased your carb level, what kind of carbs did you eat? Did you stick with vegetables and fruit or start eating refined carbohydrates?

Default welcome

Like they say 3rd time lucky!! So good luck to U. One thing U do have to realize that U will have to chwnage your eating habits for life to be able to keep your weight off. I have been in maintainence now since mid-sept and this is what works for me. I have 2 days where I "high carb" pursay. Those days I eat more veggies, fruit, extra nuts and maybe try something else that may not be exactly low carb. BUT then the next 2-3 days I really watch what I consume, eating 15-20 grams of carbs. Now tthis is the way I have found is easiest for me, not sure if it would work for everyone.
