Default Brocolli Cheese Soup

Yahoo! Something that reminds us of carb days...Found this recipe on another lowcarb site:

2 Cans Chicken Broth
2 Bags Brocolli Cuts (NOT CHOPPED, soup will be too runny)
1 pound American Cheese

Boil Brocolli and Broth on high heat. Once boiling, stir in cubed cheese and heat/stir until melted. I make this on Sundays and eat on it all week. Carbs come from brocolli and very little in the cheese. Enjoy!

Default CARBS?

How many servings does this yield, and do you have an idea about how many carbs per serving?

if any of you guys live in the UK, ASDA (walmart group) do a Brocolli & stilton soup in the chiller cabinet for only £1.08, with just 9g per 500g pot. Delicioso!

You could figure the carb count from fitday. I'll check it out when I get a chance

Well from fitday, as far as I can figure using 2 -10 oz. packages broccolli, because you didn't specify what size bags, it came out to this for the whole recipe:

Calories: 1810
Fat: 127
Sat: 75
Poly: 7
Mono: 39
Carbs: 59
Fiber: 15
Protein: 117

Thats what I got. It should give you some guidelines anyway, I would think. Minus the fiber it would have 44 carbs. I'm going to make some of this myself! Hope it freezes well. Thanks for the recipe
