Default Cottage cheese? Protein powder?

HI all,

Going low carb with the goal to regulate my cycle and get pregnant.

I have PCOS, am at the upper end of my healthy weight range, so loosing a fre kgs would be great but main thing is to regulate periods and hopefully ovulate more freq!

I am planning a lower carb diet, atkinish style. As I don't have a large amount to loose thinking of starting in phase 2.

Any thoughts on Cottage cheese and protein powder? Would you include them in a lower carb diet for someone with PCOS?

Thoughts on an average daily eating plan would be appreciated!

Breakfast: protein shake (water and powder) or eggs

Snack: cottage cheese or almonds

Lunch: salad and turkey breast or eggs

Snack: same as above

Dinner: steak/ meat /salads/ veges

Thoughts?

Thanks!
P

I think your menu looks great for someone in your position. I eat a similar menu minus the nuts (usualy) and cottage cheese, because I try to stick with induction type foods, because I have allot to lose.

LC is amazing for PCOS, I get my period about a week after starting LC and then get it regularly every month after. As long as I am LC of course. I wish you the best of luck!

Thanks Mrs K!
Hoping LC will do the same for me, and also get me ovulating as well regularly!
