Where I live we just got pouring rain and the really high wind. A few branches down, but that is about it.

Hey PV - he's right up the road from me then! Yes, I am sure they would have used the shelter as it was rather scary looking out.

What a weekend, huh?

All 30 kids were in the shelter til Midnight Thursday night. No damage, just a bunch of groggy pre-teens Friday am It was his first camp, and he loved it!! It's the only Catholic Camp in the area, and most everything was faith-based.

I got the tree branch cut up yesterday, used a small wood-chipper to make chips out of all of the smalled branches. The biggest part of the branch was approx. 10 inches diameter. It's great fun to cut wood in sweltering heat covered in wood shavings

I was lying by the pool all weekend..............!!!

Grrrrr.......

I actually just ordered 2 gallons of 35% Food-Grade Hydrogen Peroxide to use in my pool -- as opposed to obnoxious chemicals.

I'm planning on finishing up leveling a spot for it this week.

I haven't been here for a few days. Had an awful headache. I felt like my eyes were crossed whenever I'd look at anything. Needless to say, I wasn't on the computer much.
All this talk of pools. I wish I had room in my yard for one, but I don't - so I can forget that.
I had the 3 YO DGS Fri. night & Sat. We were very BUSY!!! I didn't get much accomplished, but we were busy all day I tell ya' LOL
I also didn't get any cooking ahead for the week done. Not good. You know where that means that I stopped last night, don't ya? Well, maybe I'll get some things made tonight.

the storms were impresive and I did not like hearing the sirens going off, they did so at least 4 times! Today is a repeat with even more of a chance for tornadic weather!

The tornadoes by Ulysses and Surprise missed my parents' farm by a mile. I called them last night and made sure they were in the basement.

Glad to hear they are okay. It was quite the night for sure
