I hope you're feeling well now too. I have had constipation issues and finally stumbled across the fact that stuff like bran and most vegetables and fruits have little impact -- but I eat a lot of lettuce and it's like magic for me. Not too many carbs and very low in calories. Leaf lettuce is best for me. No idea if it helps others but it does help me.

It does make sense though to see your doctor if you still feel crappy.

I've been wondering why I have no constipation issues - which I did when I first went LC. But at some point I started eating a large leaf lettuce salad almost every day.

Cutting calories is tough. It's high stress. You're probably going to spend some time troubleshooting your medical issues and picking and choosing what to do to get your weight loss going again. For me it took a year and a half to find a solution (knock on wood) and I never would have found it if I had been too stressed. With diet you're going to have to take four to six weeks with any change to see if it is a solution. That's a long time. If you're walking around beating yourself up or down on yourself then that is sapping valuable energy you need to stick to whatever decisions you've made or need to make new decisions. At least pick low stress ways to lose weight. Better, maybe you want to delay your final goal until you get these medical issues out of the way.

Keep calm and keto on.

Thanks inflammabl,

I hear you, I am trying but this has been really bad... I have even bought some berries to try and help. But it is not helping that I have noticed that much since i am only eating like 1.5 ounces (6 carbs)

I was 206.8 now I am back to 209.25 without much over eating, despite the hunder... I don't feel like eating. I just feel like crap.

I cycled this weekend through nausea, hunger and fullness all within a matter of 15 minutes.

I seriously haven't felt this badly sincei was 352 with type 2.

Going to an ND today.

You know I wonder about that.. But I have no fever or body aches nothing...

What I do have is hunger alot of it. I am freezing already, weather turned to 60-70s during the day and my hands and feet are cold...

I am so tired, I can't think, can't do my job. I literally cancelled plans to go see a cover band at a theatre this weekend.

Sleep doesn't help revive me.

I am just so tired...Not right in the head, no energy in my body.

Hi gals and guys,

I appreciate your thoughts. I am still not doing well.

I went to a office blessing for someone this past friday and I was reminded of something.

My thyroid, I do have multi modular goiter that is supposed to be watched. And I know this doctor put down the system hypothyroidism even though she never said that too me.

She gave me thyroid meds she said to reduce the sizes of the lumps on my thyroid. Long ago, I was taking it before LC but everything was getting worse. So I stopped it cleared out my system to figure out the whole diabetes thing.

I am extremely cold now, all summer I really don't like bing in the ac. My body temperature usually runs about 97.6-97.8 that was like 2 years ago when I tested it. Maybe I should start keeping track of it again.

I was freezing, about 1/2 hour ago. ate my lunch and within 5-10 minutes my fingers went from being so cold to feeling warm and fine.

Weird part is my breakfast which was chicken and green beans had more carbs than my lunch which was steak tip ceasar salad.

I eat salad (romaine lettuce) 2 times a day along with bell peppers... this week I and doing green beans in the morning.

I cut out all gum incase that was it.

It could be just pure calories. Now that I am in reaching distance of my goal, I find that I am more likely to lose weight the day after I eat a lot. It kind of cycles. Some days I'm hungry, I eat a lot, lose the next day, hunger goes down the next, weight loss levels out the next day, I get hungry.....

From 296 to 233 things were steady. Not so much now from 233 to 220. I really can't pin it down but I've found it's no good fighting it. I eat when I feel like it and don't when I don't. For some odd reason it's AFTER I lose weight that my hunger abates.

Anyway, here's a song for you, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fp7Q1OAzITM. I don't care how tired you are. It will put a shimmy in your shoulders.

haha Inflammabl! That was good put a nice rhythm in my shoulders even when my eyes want to shut

Went to an ND... Funny thing is he think I might have Adrenal Fatigue. Apparently low carb will tax the adrenals to begin with and then if you have additional stress like I have had recently (dog having seizure vacation cancelled, dog breaking tooth, looking for another job, starting a side business, working normal job, phyiscal health problems)

Not for Adrenal Fatigue but that's why I am going to Dr. Westman. I have some small symptoms here and there and just want to make sure everything is A-okay. I see what you do and think, "There's no way I could find the drive to do all of that." Adrenal Fatigue makes sense.

One thing I picked up from reddit/keto was the phrase "Keep calm and keto on." I see a lot of people post on this site, especially newbies, that are highly, highly motivated. The tone of a lot of questions is "I want to do this perfectly right in every detail....." It's 10x as bad on reddit. I think that's why the phrase is so popular over there. They even have t-shirts.

I get it... Yeah, Drive is kinda ingrained in me. If something is important to me I have a lot of drive/passion about it. Hard wire in to have "achiever" mentality. I would not have gotten this far in life had I not. And I probably be dead right now had I not had that drive to find Dr. Bernstein and not give up. Even following it, if I didn't have the drive to overcome the constant hunger, I would have fallen back to my old weight.

Good thing I have it, now that i am getting older I probably need to taper it. Even though my heart and spirit are young doesn't mean my body is.

And I been doing alot. Loosing weight gave me back my life and I really don't want to waste it. Just need to taper it some.
