Default Good news and Bad news

I have been on Atkins since Dec. 28, 03. Cheated the evening of 12/31, but otherwise have been very good. Unfortunately, I am a repeat offender...in other words, I have done Atkins a few times before and are therefore well versed in carb content, hidden carbs, etc.

My good news is that I have been in ketosis for the past 2-1/2 weeks - either deep pink or purple. Lost 8 pounds in the first two weeks. The bad news is that I have not budged since then...yep, 1-1/2 weeks at the same weight, but still showing deep pink/purple on the ketostix. What's up with that? I have been exercising 5 times a week, incorporating both aerobics and weights (I love those Firm tapes!!), but I can't imagine that I'm already building enough muscle to offset weight loss. Any ideas out there????

It's normal for weight loss to slow down after a couple of weeks. Everyone has to learn to ride it out, perhaps post a menu to see if you are eating any notorious stall culprits (they vary with each person: caffeine, meal bars or shakes, artificial sweeteners.)
However, everyone who hangs in there will break through it.
