Second, DH informed me that he wanted spaghetti for dinner. I think he can sense when I'm in weight loss mode and tries to sabotage me. Well, I zigged and zagged. He got his spaghetti, and I grilled an eggplant and had some sauce over that with a sprinkling of cheese. Very yummy.

yup, close calls happen far too often!!!

Ha Ha Ha! DH just came home with a take-out dinner for himself. Absent-mindedly I picked up a crouton from his salad and popped it into my mouth.....and instantly spit it out! That doesn't count as a cheat does it? I didn't suck on it, just spit it right out!! LOL

He didn't eat his dinner roll. It's sitting on the counter calling my name.

MOMD day 5. This is getting so easy. Hmm, don't they say "Pride goeth before a fall?" I vow not to fall anytime soon!

The roll disappeared off the counter without me eating it. Yay!

I made apple cake in a bunt pan--kids eating it but NOT ME. The effects of LC are just amazing. Im vowing not to fall off either!!! we are in this together.

Remember you can call a day or event IN ADVANCE and still count. For ME , THAT one taste is the kiss of death.

I feel like my food options are more advanced so a non-lc is off limits. Once I taste the danger, getting back to lc is a long term struggle.

MOMD day 6

My biggest problem is when something appears in front of me and I'm eating it before I think, just popping it in my mouth. That's why I'm doing this, hoping to break myself of this habit, and also learning to get right back on plan after a cheat instead of letting it turn into a cheat month.

I don't plan on having any cheat days until Easter Sunday.

Did you automatically pick up anything illicit today????

Did you know it takes about 90 to change a habit?

No, nothing illicit appeared in my line of vision lately. DH is keeping his stuff to himself, but he always seems to offer me some of everything he eats. Very generous guy. LOL

I have also heard that although it take 90 days to break a habit, it takes 8 times of trying before most people succeed. And I know it only takes a moment to screw up again. I feel that I've tried way more than 8 times. LOL

While it may have been more than 8, I think you are on the ball here and now, and have more control than before. Changing our way of eating is very challenging. If you dont quit, you WILL make it.

Takes just as much time to change the behavior of the people around us as well. My immediately family are supportive, and will call me on breaking with LC. lol My kids eat more LC stuff now too.
