Re-read post #7. All those things and more. I just use a distilled Omega-3 from Trader Joe's but Krill is supposed to be a good source of it. Remember that HDL rises slowly, but it will keep rising the longer you eat low carb and do all the other tips above. Trigs will drop like a rock but that darn HDL takes its sweet time improving.

Congrats on quitting! That is the single biggest thing you can do to help yourself live longer and be healthier. I think the next biggest thing is wearing a seat-belt. At least that's what my doctor used to tell me. LOL!

Like Janet says, be patient and the HDL will go up. You can probably expect the Trig. to fall, even down below 50 perhaps, as long as your carbs are kept low.
