Trader Joes of Westwood just got there bella vita pasta shipment today! They only got penne, but I was there and grabbed 4 boxes. I also got a shipment of bella vita direct from the racconto website.

What type of selection do they have?

kind of store with clothing, same goes for davinci!

When I was there they had 4 bottles of SF on the shelf, 2 caramel, 2 chocolate, they had a huge selection of the regular "sugar" syrups. I bought one of each of the SF.

The caramel is better than the choc. IMHO.

Cool I will check them out for sure.

I ordered a few online, but they have not arrived yet, then today I had to go to New Rochelle and stopped by Sugar Free Express in yonkers.

That store is awesome, they have almost anything you can think of LC
They even have their own LC homeade candy (I had to resist so much not to get any)

I picked up a bottle of hazelnut there. Its not bad.

I will definitely need to go back to that store though when I have some more time and am a bit more balanced and secure with my LCing.

Maybe for my birthday I will get myself a treat.

Hi -- I'm right next door, in Passaic County. We have a TJs in Wayne not far from where I work, but I haven't seen much in the way of low carb food there. A few weeks ago I saw some Atkins shakes, but when I went back they didn't have any more. That and the "Hi-Lo" cereal is all I've seen. I wonder if the Westwood store has a different product line, or is TJs moving slowly in to the low-carb world? My wife and I shop there often, and it would be great if they started catering to our WOE -- thanks --

They took my name and number and called me when the pasta shipment arrived. Even though I have 4 boxes, and went back y'day and bought 4 more. Don't want to have to buy some when TJ's is sold out.

If you ask them, they will call you when something arrives, and also put items and hold them for you.

I just stopped by on my way to work and picked up a box of the penne, which is one of my favorite forms of pasta. I think I'll have some tonight with fresh tomato, garlic, and salmon. I'd never heard of this brand before -- the only pasta I've had recently was a box of Keto spags, which I couldn't gag down!

When you cook the bella vita penne, I think the box says 10 minutes, you want to give it an additional 3 - 5 minutes otherwise it's extremely al-dente.

Like I said, I have 4 boxes, bought another 4 y'day for a total of 9 (have a box of the elbows also) b/c I can't imagine not being able to find this when TJ's sells out. I'll have withdrawal! Hi folks, just a fellow Jersey guy stopping by to say hello and introduce myself. I was born at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck and lived in Bergenfield til I was 11, than we moved up to Park Ridge and after a short Navy career I am back in Jersey living down the shore. I have a lot of family and friends up in North Jersey in areas like High Point, Hawthorne and Paramus and I am up there on a regular basis. Is there a low carb gathering planned in NJ in the near future?
