The crappy feeling is your body detoxing and weening off carbs. Stick to it, drink that broth everyday, like Rick mentioned, and you will feel better. Make sure you replenish your electrolytes, stay hydrated and eat! It gets better.
welcome,
Spend some time reading about low carb and decide on a plan. It would help to have stocked your kitchen with allowed foods, and clean out the forbidden ones, according to your plan. Read the Newbie sticky for more tips and successs stories/journals to learn how others "made it"
But drink 2 or more cups of full- salt broth, and eat enough allowed foods including good fats to get over the carb withdrawal.
Sorry to hear you feel like crap but hang in there, it really gets so much better. Most of us go through the carb withdrawal flu like symptoms but it usually only lasts a few days.
BETTER. Day 4 and I think I will live. Carb Flu is real. Ugh. It taught me to eat a bit more when I start this diet which I never seemed to grasp before. Yeah! Thanks all

I wanted to add that you need to make sure you are drinking enough water and consider potassium supplements. You lose so much water, especially in the beginning. You still may feel a bit flu-ish, but it should help.
Hope you feel better soon....def do the broth and eat plenty! Hope you can get to the store soon...it is very important to have a good amount of food on hand, especially till you adjust to lo carbing and your appetite lessens.
Drink & Eat!!! That's one of the greatest things about this is that you can actually eat!
I have been doing Adkins for two and a half months. I have lost 19.5 lbs. Not much appetite. Everybody has been telling me it is unhealthy. Just had my urine tested (fasting) and it was 8. Is that too high. I think I just need some reassurance.
Do you think it's unhealthy goldie? If you are un-sure you should do some more research. I can only speak for myself and I can say that I have lost some weight, my blood numbers are all better than before i started and I have more fun being active than when very over weight.
Welcome back (I think? Confused) You started this thread in 2012 doing South Beach, now you have been 2 and half months on ATkins. Assume you started over from same start weight? And urine tested for what? Protein? Ketones? Sugar? 8 what? Please update your stats, it helps us answer questions.
19.5 pounds lost is great and not hungry is what is supposed to happen. Reading the 2010 Atkins book is reassuring, or check out the videos and explanation of Low Carb here: https://www.dietdoctor.com/low-carb or search that site for info on whatever health topic you need to understand.
