Smile Old newbie, returning

Hoping to get the same great results I got six years ago (various sources tell me not to expect it!)

Day 4 of induction, no weight lost but feeling great.

Great to be back.

Hey Rosaritare, welcome back, I'm pretty sure we have all started and stopped at one time. However I see absolutely no reason why this won't work for you. As Robyn said, patience is the key, plus one day at a time. you have not got a huge amount to shed, what Atkins plan are you using, 20 or 40 or the original? At any rate induction is the place to start. Hang in, and celebrate the fact that you feel good, that is a great positive, stop by my journal sometime, I love company. Best of Luck to you, we will be watching your journey. ttyl

Hi Rosaritare...Welcome back. You're right...it won't be as easy this time, but one bit of advice I received when I started back in April last year was to forget all the ways I'd learned how to cheat the first time I did low carb.

Write it all down (I still like Fitday), weigh everything (no eyeballing), don't worry about calories but be a fanatic about carbs and, most of all, BE PATIENT.

Default Thanks for the response

NOTHING is coming off, but I feel better and frankly, this is my only hope! Gotta stay on it. Thanks the great advice and patience is what I'm having to remember.

Reading DANDR again really got me motivated, and I'm also learning other ways to cope besides EMOTIONAL eating.

Best,

R
