Thanks for posting this and the summary at your journal.

That was some great program you participated in through Kaiser. Do you know if they've written up results yet? Where in the 30-month study are you? And how does it control for participants' exercise? Did the study require/recommend the Couch-to-5K exercise or did you just decide to start running yourself?

Your story's inspiring--
Cheers--

I was hoping to find you on here! I'm so proud of you! As you know, you're a real-life inspiration to everyone around you. Thank you for helping me meet my own weight goals; finishing my first 5k well, and even pushing me to the next race.

So here I am. Smaller than I ever imagined possible. A size 4 (2 at some stores!). A runner. A bike commuter. Someday even a triathlete. A person who will struggle with her weight every single day of the rest of her life, or until she tires of the struggle, whichever comes first. I have to weigh myself every day and write down all of my food every day and exercise every day. I have to overcome my natural laziness every day (I still rarely take the stairs). I think of it like having a chronic disease - this is what I have to do to stay healthy.

This is a great way to think about maintenance. Congratulations! You look so fit and healthy. And your boys are adorable.

Default Great story

Thanks for the effort in conveying your story and congrats on a well done effort. You helped in my journey. Very nice job in providing detail in your 'MyPlan' tracking, its a great tool. Maybe someday I will learn to maintain and not regain.
Thanks again
