Default Polydextrose

If anyone has been looking for this to use in cooking (it has similar properties to sugar as it crystalises unlike splenda) I can pass on contact details of a company that sells the Danisco product "Litesse".

I'd rather do this in a pm than post it on the board.

Though they sell in bulk to bakers and other manufacturers (minimum sale of 25kgs) they offered to send me a free "sample" which has just arrived today.

I was surprised that it was a whole kilo of the stuff!! Will last me for years I think!!

I am interested in knowing how polydextrose counts on LC. Do you have any additional information you can share?
Thanks!

I don't know much about it as I just wanted it to try in recipes that use it. Members like Kevinpa and Scott123 have posted quite a bit about how and when to use it.

here is a thread that mentions its properties

As to whether to count its carbs it seems most people do not for LC purposes
