Default Any other Scrapbookers out there?

If so, are you doing or have you thought about doing an album of your WL journey? Just curious. I know I'm a visual person and I love the journal available on here. I was thinking of combining some of my "entries" with pictures of me along the way to have to keep myself motivated and inspired. Any body else doing something "crafty" while incorporating this new lifestyle?

I am about to start a scrap book. I am collecting pictures of myself every 2 to 3 weeks for a visual of my progress. I will put my thoughts and other things in it. Maybe along the way it will help me stay motivated and maybe help someone else get motivated to start.

I am just getting into scrapbooking. I made a scrapbook for my mother-in-law who is in the early stages of Alzheimer's. We made the scrapbook together and the process helped her remember things she'd forgotten. I am now making a heritage scrapbook for my mom. I have toyed with the idea of doing a weight loss scrapbook. I actually think it might help me by showing a chronology of my weight loss journey. Also maybe it will keep me so busy I won't be thinking about food all the time.

This is an intriguing idea. KikiKitty and I scrap together every month, and sometimes more if we can swing it. I only have 20 lbs to lose, so I'm afraid mine won't be much of a journey...LOL..more like a weekend trip, but scrapping it sounds like a really fun idea.

How thoughtful and helpful, fluffy.

Thanks for the idea, Bri. DH and I just took pictures of each other...gonna start a 'weight loss journey' scrapbook right now.

This is a great idea, though I have a hard time finding "before" pics of myself as I usually stay behind the camera so as not to be caught in front of it! I think I'll need to make more progress before I feel inspired to scrap this journey, but I'd love to see others pages! Maybe I'll be so inspired, I'll have to start sooner! :-)

I just saw a picture of myself from this past Saturday, and I swear my face looks thinner in the picture. That got me to thinking about starting some type of album for my weight loss. I figure I can have a before pic and then as I lose 25 lbs, have hubby take another picture and so on... then add in what I've noticed as far as changes. How I feel physically, emotionally, what part of my body I'm starting to like, etc...

Great idea! I saw one low carber who has an online photo journey who photographed her face like every ten pounds, and it's so cool to see the changes happen "right before your eyes"! I really ought to do that!
