Default meat and egg diet

Hello! I've read in a couple of places about some three day meat and egg diet to kick start your stall. Does anyone have more details about this? It sounds interesting...thanks so much!

If you go to the "Triple Digits Thread" there is a thread about the meat and egg fast, along with the rules of the fast. There are also people who posted in it telling about their successes. There is also a link in one of the posts that tells you about the pros and cons. Good luck!

Hi there, and welcome!

Before you start any sort of "fast," I would strongly recommend you read this post: Wait! Before starting a stall-buster, read here.

Cheers,

Rosebud

Sometimes doing the M&E backfires on you. I stopped doing it. The weight that you lose on it, isn't much and it sometimes backfires on you when you start adding back carbs.

I think the meat and egg fast is a good way to turn you off to LC eating. I would think you would get sick to death of meat. Stalls usually go away with persistance and exercise. Also, I found that if I ate Atkins Indulgence bars, they stalled me big time!

Talking wow-great information

Thank you all! I can't believe how helpful this forum is! I feel like it is the ultimate motivator and source of lc info! I'm so thankful! I think I'll try cutting out the lc shakes and stick to the recipes in the book for meals. Also, it sounds like I should stay away from fake sweeteners as much as possible. I'll try this for the next week and see what happens. Thank you thank you
