Default Type Two Diabetic Thinking of Doing TSP!

Am I a good candidate for TSP? I have type two diabetes and 10 to 15 pounds overweight. I did LC once with Atkins and almost passed out because my blood sugar levels dropped to very low levels. Is this a difficult program for a beginner to LC to attempt? Will I lose weight fairly quickly? I'm not looking for a miracle but I want to lose this weight because I have tried everything, even WW and can't lose the weight.

I was thinking about going to B&N today after work and buy the new TSP that has one and two programs in one book. Would that be a wise decision?

Thanks!

Ilana

Anytime you can reduce your refined carbs and work on getting healthy is a good time! TSP is a great plan for diabetics as she feels you can reverse the condition. Please read the forum and get a "feel" for her principles for good health. You could also check out her website for good info. Also, realize that she feels the ADA is doing us a grave injustice by recommending the amount of carbs that they do for type 2's. Hope you can find some good information to help you make your decision - it isn't always a matter of losing the weight (although that is important) it is a matter of changing your lifestyle so that you can heal your body and stay healthy.
