An Americano with room for half+half and a shot of SF Vanilla syrup (or another flavor if they have it) is a better choice.
Lynred's right. Induction restricts cream to around 3 oz per day, so a breve is too high. Once you switch to the Americanos, your palate will adjust and you'll start to enjoy them, too.
The Breve latte is made with Half-half. You can request that it can be made with heavy cream tho. to cut the carbs. i don't know if would affect you. i remember that you do have to limit yourself in the dairy and cheese dept- while you are on induction.
I always got sugar free decaf vanilla lattes. I'm sure they're off limits & I'm just starting induction, but does anyone know how many carbs are in a sugar free latte? I looked on the starbucks website but it didn't list sugar free anything in the nutritional values. Thanks
I've noticed that with the half & half and cream I buy the carb count doesn't change at all. For 2 tbsp of half & half its 1g and for 1 tbsp of cream it's 1g. I'd rather go with the half & half cause you get alil more for the carbs. I used it through the beginning weeks of induction and lost just fine. Not to mention half & half is alot cheaper than heavy cream.
Sugar free latte... I make these at work all the time. If you make them in something like heavy cream, you're fine. Likely just 1 or 2 carbs. Half and half... probably more like 4-5 carbs.
I work in a cafe and I'm in the process of creating a low-carb menu for the management. We're gonna do a trial run and if things go well... WOOO!
