Default Check-in

I am now down 10 lbs from before I started Westman. It has been one month today (28th) and my life has truly changed. Besides the weight going down, I no longer buy Costco-sized veggies because they would go bad. I think "small" with my food. I find that I either have only a cup of coffee with heavy cream for breakfast and eat a hearty low carb lunch, or I have a hearty low carb breakfast and skip lunch altogether. Dinner is hit or miss. Some days I just have a salad, and veggie with butter, other days I'll add protein. My life in no way revolves around food anymore.

My wife and I are going on a business trip to a conference in Calif., and I have no concern about my food. Carbs are not an option, and I truly have no desire for a "cheat" day because I love what I eat already. I'm one happy girl!

Glad that you have found a diet that works so well for your metabolism and taste preferences.

Here is a recent radio interview with Dr Westman on the People's Pharmacy, titled Flipping the Food Pyramid Upside Down.

I posted the English version in my journal here: http://forum.lowcarber.org/showpost...29&postcount=42

Just copy'n paste. Put it on your phone, read it at your leisure, distribute at will. Once you can PM me, do so and I'll send you both English and French versions in PDF format.
