MMMMMM

Hey Mum, that's a really great idea. I missed the bread but this would be GREAT in an omelette! I'd have the other ingredients already warmed up then add to the eggs, fold and serve. Perhaps this weekend with some shirataki sushi experiement inspired by Kristine:

It was pretty tasty thud. I was also thinking of a Rueben sandwich by using a flax MIM and adding caraway seeds to give it that "rye" feeling

Def will add a kosher pickle next time!

For breakfast this morning I had two ground beef patties, each topped with a sunny side egg. Black coffee

Three hard boiled eggs today, some tuna salad, and three slices of naturally cured bologna. Black coffee.

Looks yummy Thud!.

Been playing with crustless quiche recipes and found one here on the site that is creamy and rich, and doesn't have an eggy taste. Great for people like me who are not fond of eggs. The mayo and cheese in this makes it very greasy. Yum! I added some Chinese broccoli into it to get a serving of veggies in.

Those both look delicious! Especially the bok choy dish.

I had a smoothie with half cup of plain full fat yogurt and 5 frozen strawberries, plus three slices of thick bacon.

Posting some ingredients for using rump roast in stir fry. Hint: don't - I keep trying to cut it smaller and smaller but it's still pretty tough. It is tasty tho. Last pic till next sat maybe, fasting this week. Happy breakfasting to all!

Thud, I've had nothing but bad luck cooking tougher cuts of beef any way but in the crock pot.

I don't usually eat breakfast, but I'm traveling to meet up for lunch with family, so I had a spoonful of peanut butter and a square of 85% chocolate, just to have something to take my supplements with.

Yum...Thud123. Your feasts look amazing. I've been steering clear of Asian food due to rice or noodles, but I will definitely try some of your inspired dishes.

What do you use for noodles?

Lots of great ideas on this thread! I love corned beef so definitely will be trying the reuben omelet sometime soon. I need to learn how to make that coconut curry basil chicken. Good reminder that I love steak and eggs for breakfast.

One of my breakfast standby's for now:

Good sized portion of Salmon, baked the day before or smoked.
40g/0.25cups blueberries - the small wild ones
15g sliced almonds
Sometimes a little lemon or lime
Coffee and cream, for now. I'll try to quit coffee again once I'm more stable on the LC front. Unless LC WOE makes me handle the caffeine better? That'd be awesome.

I flake the salmon and then mix everything all in a bowl. I won't take a picture because it doesn't look exactly appetizing. (I guess I'm lucky that I'm not bothered by mash as long as it tastes good?) The blueberries are tiny enough to be eaten frozen. This is a nice cold breakfast for warmer spring mornings. Supposed to get up to 80 today!). I'd probably add some fresh herbs if I had any on hand: mint? basil? I've been meaning to plant some mint forever. I need to put that on my gardening list.

this made me giggle....you know so many people rant about the unhealthy low carb diet......wait aren't those 3 foods on basically every "top 10 healthy foods you should be eating" list ever published?

Lol, I think they are. I've read a lot of those top ten lists in the process of trying to figure out what I should really be eating once it became clear that it sure as heck wasn't what the FDA was preaching. However, when I heard about Atkins a decade or so ago, it sounded like it was no fruit or veggies whatsoever, so I thought it was horrible, too. Live and learn.
