Default Have you ever weighed yourself, pooped 1/2 hr later, and then re-weighed yourself ?

LOL.

I'm in the weight loss phase and it's fun seeing the pounds come off, I had a 10 day no weight loss, and then I've restarted losing again. Later in the day, when I usually eat the most, if i've done well, I look forward to seeing my weight in the morning. It gives me a bit of incentive to avoid the late night eating.

I like it when I have a BM before my coffee, but it usually comes after.

So, have you ever ?

Hahaha.

Yes, but usually I've had two or three coffees by then, so at best it's a watch.

Instead of weighing twice, I've weighed my coffee so that I can subtract its weight from my post-elimination weight. Just put the mug on the scale, zero it, add brewed coffee and note how much it weighs.

It's a wash of course, not a watch. I do know how the saying goes.

Yep. I've also reweighed if I have a substantial pee.

Yes! I find lower weights motivating and take these small advantages where possible.

I often find if I weigh myself at about 6 AM, and then again at about 9 AM I'm often about a pound lighter at 9, even if I have not peed or pooped in the interim.

That's the gold standard. When you lose even though you haven't 'off loaded' any obvious fluids or solids. I also have weighed after a tiny amount of urine and the loss is a half a pound. That's when I feel like I'm actually shedding the water and exhaling the CO2 from losing fat.

All the time.

Nothing succeeds like success. When I see that scale move, I'm motivated to stay on track. This backfires when I see no progress.

This is the case with me, too. I once belonged to a weight loss program at work and always went in for my weigh-in around 10 am because that is the time that my weight seems to drop a bit. I also find that if I get on the scale and lean forward a little bit, my weight drops a smidge. LOL

Honestly, I think this is ridiculous, especially with what we know about fluctuations.

Nice Scale Hack. works even better if the scale is on carpet.
