Default Meal Delivery Service

Hi,

Do any of you use meal delivery services? I recently signed up for Green Chef's Keto plan. The reviews say that the meals are too low in fat and too high in carbs to be true keto but that they are customizable by adding a little extra fat and cutting down on the included vegetables. Just wondering if anyone else uses this service or a similar one for low carb/keto plans.

Alicia

Try Chef'd... they have an Atkins option with a lot of great choices. I've used it for the last 9 months while doing LCHF with success! I can give you my faves if you'd like!

Remembered your recent question, here's new update on Hello Fresh purchase of Green Chef. https://www.delish.com/food-news/a1...ndly-meal-kits/

Good idea to keep some butter and olive oil in kitchen if not enough fat for you. Does each meal come with nutrition label?

"Hello Fresh" was good, the 3-meals we tried. Also "Taste of Home" has some good recipes.

I really like Green Chef. I think its fair to call them "keto friendly" rather than strict keto. The website includes the nutritional breakdown for each meal. I find the meals in general have too many carbs per serving and too much protein for me. That turns out to be a good thing because I can stretch two meals into three! The food is really good. More importantly, I'm not the least bit bored with my food choices which helps me stick to my program

Will keep these services in mind. I hope that the transition to new ownership goes smoothly and Hello Fresh keeps all the good reasons they bought Green Chef in place.

I totally agree about the new ownership. The only change I've noticed so far is that they package all ingredients per recipe in a brown paper bag instead of all ingredients being labeled with a sticker. They still use the stickers but the bag makes it easier to grab everything you need and I use it as a garbage bag when cooking. I hope they don't change anything else.
