Reg Peanut Butter vs. Natural Peanut butter
I was fixing a snack today with peanut butter for my kids and myself. I use the nautral peanut butter and they are having the store brand. Out of curiosity I checked the labels and found something that is very surprising to me.
My natural peanut butter (peanuts and salt only) has:
210 calories per 2 TBSP
16 g of fat
6g carbs
2g fiber
1g sugar (???)
The kids store bought regular peanut butter has peanuts, sugar, hydrog veg oil, molasses, salt)
200 calories per 2 TBSP
16g ffat
6g carbs
2g fiber
3g sugars
How is it possible for my natural to have more calories and hte same amount of carbs when the regualr has sugar and molasses? Any ideas?
