Smile Just starting yet again

I am starting over, yet again. I've done most diets but have had the most success with Atkins. I do have a ways to go but am focusing on each day, heck at times it's more like each hour.

I am 53 and finally all the kids are gone and it is time to focus on me and getting a life. This (weight loss) and physical fitness were number 1 and 2 on my list. I'm working out with my oldest daughter as she gets ready for Navy bootcamp...my youngest daughter is already in the Navy. My list goes on, but I thought starting small was the best idea

I work in restaurant management, though I am home at the moment, but looking for work. I can't wait to get at it once again, but those carbs will be a lot harder to avoid when I'm working,

I'm looking for others in a similar age group to share encouragement and tips with

Welcome navymom56!

I'm sure you'll find some people here that share your age group.

Working in a restaurant makes it very easy - as well as torture - to LC, just stay away from the bread station! It's good that you'll get some LC time under your belt before working again.
