Talking hi, I'm new

I am currently on the Carbohydrate Addict's diet and have been for 6 years. It has kept me from gaining weight and craving carbs for the most part. I am having trouble losing 4 unwanted pounds, not sure if it is muscle, when I first started I was down to 104 as my average weight, now I am consistently at 108. Any one else on this same plan? Any help or ideas?

Smile hi Grace, welcome aboard

I'm not following Carb Addicts myself .. but good for you for losing and maintaining for 6 years. That's great.

Not sure what to say about those 4 lbs. Have you measured your body with a tape measure?? It may well be that you've gained muscle in place of the fat, especially if you've been exercising too. Fat takes up less space than the same weight of fat. Your best bet at this point would be to get a body-fat measurement done; a local fitness center / health club may be able to help you with this.

Hope to read more posts from you .. let us know more about your success! Take care

Doreen

Default thank you

I think it is muscle because I can still fit into my clothes and yes I have started a new fitness routine, I am including toning with weights as well has jogging and running. Thanks for your input and support, I already knew that about muscle weighing more but when it comes to me, I am really critical. Have a good weekend Doreen T.!
