Old thread, but...
Can't do dairy or soy, so I ended up picking up the Jay Robb egg protein powder in vanilla. Really liked it, especially since the only sweeteners in it were stevia and xylitol. Made a shake with 1 scoop powder, 1/2c coconut milk, 1 cup strawberries and about 6oz water. Was really tasty.
Substituted sliced peaches (frozen, unsweetened) once because the bag listed the same calories/carbs as the strawberries. About an hour later I was exhausted, starving, bloated and ready to nap. Guess no more peaches for me!
Think I'm going back to berries, but cut the number down a bit. Either way, the egg protein is fantastic... and the list of amino acids in this stuff is impressive.
