Default is the meat and egg fast a good idea for me?

hello everyone, ive been getting really frustrated lately, i only have like 3 -5 more pounds id like to lose and its EXTREMELY hard to do now that im at a normal weight, ive been having 20-25 carbs each day for about 3 weeks!! and i just fluctuate more, i will lose 2 lbs then gain one then gain another then lose one and so on so i decided maybe i should try the meat and egg fast for 3 or 4 days and see what happens, i started it already today so far so good, its not too hard yet but i was just wondering if its a bad idea for me to do it since im already at normal weight kind of and only have a few more pounds to go?...is there any other suggestions?

When you do something extreme like that, and put your body into shock, like you do... usually weight comes off, temporarily.

pure protein will reduce weight. but.... you must drink tons of water to flush the protein from your organs. flush your organs.

anything long term, this extreme is not healthy.

thanks, both of you for your input, i know its a little extreme, which is why i was only going to try it for 3 days, i did ok today, i wouldnt exactly call it the meat and egg fast tho..lol..i made it the whole day drinking tons of water and eating only meat and eggs...........but tonight i had a low carb dannon yogurt-3carbs..lol..but together i only had 6 carbs today so whatever, i think im just starting to get a little impatient now that i only have a few more pounds and it hard to come off..ill see how things go and try to be a little bit more patient and just be happy that i got this far. thanks again!

well, if it's for 3 days, i mean.. on the grand scheme of things, it's not going to be that harmful... But of course, in the long run, it will be. =)

I wish you success for your 3 day experiment... but do keep in mind though, that unless your glycogen was pretty depleted to begin with, the initial weight loss is likely to be water and not fat... So maybe you'll be able to get the last 3-5 lbs down, but it won't change your size much. =)

But anyway, congratulations for all the lbs that you lost so far. =) Seems like you had quite a success!!!
