Adding a custom food...question
I'm not all that experienced with My PLAN, and am hoping to get into using it regularly again, since it'll really help rein in my WOE.
Anyway, I was just trying to add in a piece of Babybel cheese, and I typed in the nutrition data from the package, but it's still showing as 0 carbs, (which I typed in).
What is the "forumula" for calculating the true carb count of a food?
Here's the breakdown on the package:
Per 21 gram piece:
Calories: 70
Total Fat: 6 grams
Protein: 5 grams
Total Carb: 0 grams
Now I know there must be some carbs in this thing - it's cheese!
I'm not used to the labeling requirements in the USA - whereby if it's less than 1 gram, they can list 0.
How do I calculate the true carb count of this item?
Thanks very much for your help
