I might have to switch to CAD or Dr.Worm while I'm here.
See you all next week.

When you calculate the loss for the month, do you do,it from the last day of the prior month to the last day of this month?

I did it from the 1st - 31st and realized I'm skipping a day by doing it that way.

I'd like to know how others do it!

Hi Pairs!
Well, I actually just do 1st thru the last day of the month. The first is a 'start over" date for me no matter the #. Just happy to be losing!!

Krissy, I asked two doctors if there was anything I could do on my own to get my TSH down; diet, supplements, exercise. I was willing to do what it would take to stay off meds. They said no, it will just continue to get worse over time. When I looked at my bloodwork history, I could see that I had been battling it for at least ten years. I didn't know what else I could try, so I figured I would try the meds and see what it feels like to have an optimal TSH. I am so happy that there are no adverse side effects, and that it is working. I am now quite content to stay on it for the rest of my life. My doctor gave me a one year prescription and will do bloodwork only once a year from now on, unless I feel that something is wrong.

In my opinion, if your TSH drops, it won't be by much. No reason to wait....

Krissy, schedule that appointment ASAP. You'll be so glad you did. lol I've been on meds for about 2 years. And I almost feel like the "old me".
My TSH levels have been off since before May. I'm about due for another blood draw. Hopefully my dose is getting close to right for a while. I'm getting a little tired of the every 6 week visit to the blood vampires and wasting half a RX.
