I'm looking at the wrapper from an 80gm bar of 80% cacao chocolate I bought from a fair trade company called Equal Exchange. They were in the booth next to mine at a conference, giving away free samples, naturally.
The Nutrition Facts pertain to 12 squares--half of the total. I couldn't possibly eat more than four squares, and two was plenty of chocolate satisfaction, with a carb count (less fiber--what is that in a chocolate bar?) of about 1g.
Occasionally in my LC career, I've enjoyed making those coconut oil bites. So easy. Some combination of powdered cocoa, Splenda, coconut oil, maybe some vanilla, maybe some nuts--all to personal taste. I measure by TBS into the wells of a previously-chilled muffin tin and freeze it. The pieces pop right out. Store in a baggie in the fridge or freezer.
As others have said, after you've worked up to higher cacao, milk chocolate tastes kind of icky.
