Question Atkin Induction

So, I just realized I shouldn't be eating "regular salad dressing" three days into this! Darn. I really am not a fan of oil and vinegar. Does anyone have any suggestions as far as dressing? The dressing I have been using is only 1gram carb in two tablespoon. (if that makes a difference???)

I'm not strict Atkins, so I'm not sure totally what is allowed, however, I do use Blue Cheese and Ranch salad dressings with 1 carb per Tbsp.

So you do use dressing with sugar in the ingredients? But... is it like 5th and beyond in the label?

I do and it's never had any impact on me that I can tell. It may not be for everyone.

I used Ken's Bleu Cheese and Caesar dressings and most other full-fat storebought dressings though induction and I got into ketosis after the first few days and have stayed there for most of the last 4 months. Just check the carbs on the label and avoid things like Russian, Thousand Island and others that are kinda sugary.

I sometimes use bought ones, if the carbs are OK, but I prefer to make my own. I just made some mayonnaise - it's really quick, and you can choose a healthy oil and the best ingredients.

Gordon Ramsey has a demo on Youtube, if you have never tried making it before. If you add the oil too quickly, it might not thicken, but if that happens, just start again with a new egg yolk, and drizzle in the failed batch. It is really easy. There are also great recipes for ranch dressing on the internet. Yumm!

The only flavor of salad dressing I like is Thousand Island. I finally found one that has 0 carbs in 2 Tbs. It is made by Waldon Farms. My husband really likes their Raspberry Vinaigrette which is also 0 carbs.
