Default Hot Links!

Karen,
Just wanted to say I agree with Sharon. Your new "sticky" threads are packed with great info. I am sure I will refer to them often and I hope the newbies will look there because I am sure these threads will answer MANY of their questions!

Thanks again... You rock!
Hugs,
Carrie

Hi Karen.

Firstly, I love your sticky threads.

But I have a request. Is there a link to a "name that articial sweetener" site? In Oz I am finding that a lot of products I look at have numbers not name.

If you can help me with this it would be great.

Many thanks.

Cheers,

hi Reymi,

950 = acesulfame potassium, also called ace-K

951 - aspartame ... avoid as much as possible

952 - cyclamate

954 - saccharine

Most stuff here is sweetened by 950 and 952 (together) at least now I know it isn't aspartame!

TY again

I like cucumbers! They are a good LC vegetable in moderation.

Once you know your Critical Carb Level for ongoing weight loss - OWL - you can decide how many cucumbers are the right amount. Remember to subtract the fiber.

Default Thanks Karen!

My wife and I went through half the Hot Links threads last night and will go through the rest of them this evening.

I can't believe how much we didn't know about the LC WOE! WOW! What we learned last night we are already putting into action today.

No more Atkins bars for me and more water. I only thought 64 ounces was enought. Now I'm on a regimen of 96 ounces.

I also am now measuring as well as weighing. I REALLY hope that the deal about losing inches when you don't see weight loss is true. That will really help my attitude!

Thanks so much Karen and to the other folks that really take the time to make long infomative posts! I for one, REALLY appreciate you!

Paul

Wow, thanks so much, this is totally useful! For example, I had thought that limiting fat was a good idea on this plan, and a couple of those links showed me why this is not so.
