In addition
In addition to that last thread I wanted to say that I was soooo tempted after that meal to just eat sugar! I haven't been having cravings and that meal made me hungry again for something sweet, even though I felt sick. I made it though! I didn't give in and for that I was very proud of myself. But I was also baffled.
Also, my husband is crazy about me eating this way because he sees the change in me. The mood swings, depression, sleepiness, lack of energy, discouragement . . . man! They are all related to eating carbs! I wish the world knew! I have been beating myself up forever for not having enough self-control, and lo and behold, if I eat right it isn't nearly as hard to have the self control!
For all of the above, I want to hang in there!
