Historical Low Carb Diet, Dr. Benjamin Sandler: Diet to Prevent Polio, 1948

Dr. Benjamin Sandler recommended a low carb diet, in the midst of the polio epidemic. His recommendations in 1948 brought marked reductions in the number of polio cases where the recommendations were followed.
