Default Here goes nothing...or 50lbs!

Hello all!
My name is Amanda. I am a 35 year old wife and mother of 3. I am starting the low carb journey to aid in my husband's low carb journey. A few months ago my husband went to the emergency room with severe abdominal pain. Sitting in the emergency room the dr comes in and tells us that his sugar is over 300, it had nothing to do with the pain, but what a wake up call. Turns out he was full of blood clots and I'm lucky he's still with us.
Hubby was on a low carb diet before and lost a ton of weight. Then he met me and got an insta-family. Along with the family came the weight. Now we need to lose weight to get his diabetes under control and out health back on track. Any tips and tricks are appreciated! I'm really worried about being able to do this.

Welcome! You'll find lots of information all over this forum, but especially about diabetes in the Dr. Bernstein & Diabetes sub-forum.
