Thumbs up Hello from S Yorkshire

Hello all,

I was very overweight from childhood until I discovered lo carb diets (specifically Atkins) and got to my target weight about 12 years ago. After a long long period of illness i find myself in the perfect position to restart and overhaul my diet.

I really am looking forwards to this new start. I am quite lucky that I remember the "tough bits" and expect them BUT more importantly remember how I dealt with them.

Today is the new start !
Took a load of high carb foods to the local food bank and did a big lo-carb food shop.

I look forwards to exchanging tips and ideas with people on this forum.

Best wishes,
ADH

Welcome!
Getting rid of those high carb foods is smart. I'm still a relative newbie here, but I'm enjoying this site a lot.
Best of luck!
