Judi, glutamine works best when the daily dose is divided into two or three doses. Post workout (5-10g) and before bed (5-10g) - after a workout the glutamine will help with muscle repair, neutralizing cortisol and muscle soreness and before bed it with help in the production of human growth hormone.

Taking glutamine regularly is a good idea - it's not just for workout days. It will help stave off muscle catabolism and it supports immune function.

We take it every day around my house - and double up a lot during the flu/cold season.

HTH
Nat

Default brands, and where to get it cheap ...

I like EAS, Twinlabs when I HAVE to buy some from the store. For Twinlabs, in the store, I get 500g for $50 (expensive)

But, I have found that www.kilosports.com has a great price on good quality L-glutamine. $40 US per kilo.

Anyone find a cheaper source?
