I took 20 gms of glutamine this AM, had a heavy w/o Weds and muscles were screaming! Just got back from my heavy Friday w/o and I know muscles will be screaming again tomorrow- can I head those screams off at the pass by taking another 20 grams this afternoon? Or, is it too soon?
Thanks!

Judi, glutamine works best when the daily dose is divided into two or three doses. Post workout (5-10g) and before bed (5-10g) - after a workout the glutamine will help with muscle repair, neutralizing cortisol and muscle soreness and before bed it with help in the production of human growth hormone.
Taking glutamine regularly is a good idea - it's not just for workout days. It will help stave off muscle catabolism and it supports immune function.
We take it every day around my house - and double up a lot during the flu/cold season.
Dan,
I found EAS glutamine at the Vitamin Shoppe for around $50 you get 1 kilo or 2.2 lbs. they also have a web site www.vitaminshoppe.com
But I will try your site next time I'm out!
