Question Dieters' Advantage?

I've been taking the Atkins Dieters Advantage pills for a few days now, and I think they are actually making me hungrier. Has anyone experienced a change in appetite since taking these pills...either way?

I haven't taken those particular supplements. But it could be a coincidence. They are supposed to help you lose better. And I am usually starving just before I lose some pounds. So maybe it's just that they are working. Let us know what happens by the weekend.

Remember that on Atkins, hunger is not a bad thing - you are allowed to eat protein and veggies to satisfy your hunger. Starving or denyng yourself legal foods when you are hungry is not part of the LC plan.

I'll be waiting to hear the results.

Hi MayLisa,

I been taking them for months and didn't notice an effect on hunger at all. Usually if I'm having sweet cravings and I take them it helps me to resist the craving.

I have been getting really hungry from increasing exercise, I think lowcarbing really gets you to burn fat from that.

Maybe the hunger is a sign that your metabolism is increasing? (I don't know if that's possible but I eat a lot more now than when I started lc and lose at about the same rate).

Nancy

Smile Dieter's Advantage?

Thank you, Nancy and BarB, you told me some things I hadn't thought about. If my metabolism is speeding up, or I am about to drop some weight, that would be terrific! Thanks!
