Hello beautiful ladies,

I know it's been a while since I've been in here and I have no excuse other than shame in the fact I'm failing miserably in getting back into a good routine. I think about it every day, and last year I did so good around the holidays, but for some reason this year the holiday treats are kicking my arse. I guess is all I can do is keep fighting this thing and eventually I will win. So here I am again and trying to stay accountable.

Hope you all have a great day and I'll try to keep up with ya'll.

Chat soon.

Hi everyone. Hope you all have had a great weekend. Well, last week was awful for eating. I cheated pretty much every other day and I'm not really sure why, other than that I just didn't feel like fighting it. But I know that today I woke up ready to fight again and I won't let the damage bring me down. I've looked at the cheats I've had and putting them into perspective, they could have been alot worse. But that is no excuse. What I can do for myself now is not let it continue and get myself back in this game. Eating was really good yesterday and I said I would go to they gym 6 out of 7 days this week, I will go atleast 5 and may have to do one work out at home because the gym is closed on C-eve and C-day. But I did do alot of working out yesterday while helping a friend move, so maybe that will count as 1 time.

Hope you all had a better week than I did!

Hey ladies,

Just checking in, I'll make it short simply because I'm extremely busy today, but I ate pretty well yesterday with the exception of a small piece of Poppyseed Bread. A co-worker brought me a small loaf for a present and insisted I taste it, well, I'm not even a poppyseed fan, but he is a good friend and I didn't want to disappoint him. Plus with the trend I've been on, it's not like it was going to kill me. However, I did resist the remaining treats around the office and house, talk about torture. My wife was putting together tins for the neighbors with home made fudge and carmels and then my son talked her into making banana bread last night. I knew I was going to loose it. However to my surprise I held off and had a small handful of nuts and a couple glasses of water. Now if I can just do that for the next 10 years I'd be set.

At any rate, one hurdle over and a long race to go. The way I'm looking at things, I'm just stretching for the marathon. Thank god I have this awesome support group. Thanks everyone for allowing me to jump back in after all my wavering.

Keep up the great work.

Speaking of our awesome support group, are we going to continue some kind of challenge in 2006? I hope so, I really enjoy this bunch and would miss everyone terribly.

Any rate, food bad this weekend, but back on track. Going to gym tonight and that hasn't happened for a couple of weeks, but I am going to start focusing on exercise and see what happens.

Take care peeps and only a few shopping days left!

Mornin Girls,

Hey two days in a row, this could be a trend. I've been here before, but what the hell, one day at a time.

My question is, why can't we change holiday traditions. Instead of giving everyone plates of cookies and candy, why can't that change that to like Ham or prime rib or something that isn't going to eventually kill us. I think I'll start giving plates of sausauge to all my neighbors and co-workers and see what they think? This has got to be my biggest challenge over the last month in trying to start back to healthy eating. Last night I came home to more "Stuff". We got a big assortment of nuts, but wouldn't you know it, they were all chocolate covered. That is the closest thing we've received that even resembles natural food.

Okay enough of my ranting, I did awesome yesterday. No cheats even with a packed countertop of "crap". I even got 25 minutes on the treadmill with a small arm workout. So far so good this week. My mini goal for this week is just to get through it with no cheating. Then we'll set another goal for the weekend which could be the big challenge.

You all are great and I appreciate your support.

Good afternoon Everyone!

I'm here to confess that I fell off the WO wagon at the end of last week - just too darn busy trying to get all my work caught up before going on vacation (which I did accomplish, BTW! )!!!

Unfortunately, since being on vacation this week, I STILL haven't had a chance to climb back ON that wagon -- unless baking and shopping count?! I'm not going to worry too much about it - yet - I'll still be on vacation next week, too, and since all the pre-holiday madness will be done & over with then, I'll finally be able to breathe more easily and start back w/ my workouts again.

Have a great day everyone and if I don't get a chance to pop back in here before the weekend,
