Question Fitday Software

I am considering buying the fitday software. I know many people get it when it was first offered a few months ago. How do you like it now. Can you customize foods more easily? Do you miss not being able to have others here look at your foods to give advise? What do you like best and least with the software? I have held up getting it until now because I wanted to see what others think after using it for awhile. So, what do you think? Is it worth the money?

HI - There are several threads about the new software you can read, but I just wanted to say I love it, love it, love it! I love the customization, I love the summary reports, I love the calendar feature - well you get the idea. I did not really use the web version and have not had a desire to have others review my menus etc. so I am not the best person to ask, but for me, I can so easily see what is going on that I don't know that I would have needed anyone to critique my diet anyway. So FWIW - like I said, I LOVE IT!!! I have it on home and work computer, just send the file back and forth daily and it works like a charm.

Thanks PecanPie, that's the kind of information I am looking for. How long have you been using it? I use the online one but it is so time consuming to customize.

I like it very much. It's 100% better software than another I paid $50 for.

I bought the fitday software about a month ago, after playing with the online version for about a month. I think it was a great $20 investment. There are so many more features, and I already have a bunch of customized entries for some of my favorite foods (even recipes) that I just double click to add to my day's entries. I love the graphs, too!

I agree! It's $20 well spent. I wish I had done it a long time ago....

Absolutely a great buy! The reports are helpful, everything's clear, it's easy to add custom foods.

The only problem I'm having is finding the time to enter in the last few months foods into the log! <sigh> Wish I'd gotten it sooner too!

I am just using th online version which I love but I am also thinking of actually purchasing fitday.

Those of you who have it do you recommend buying the CD or just downloading?

I downloaded it but have a high speed connection. I have had to replace my hard drive twice in the last three weeks and it was so easy to just go an download it - plus I HATE to wait *g*
