Default did anyone see?

Hello all!
did anyone happen to catch the 'terry and gaby show' on channel 5 this morning? - they were testing the "zero carb" diet - whatever that is!! - i have never seen such misinformed, badly researched nonsense! - apparently all one is supposed to eat on this "NO carb" diet is bacon/eggs (yawn) for breakfast, steak and an ounce (it looked like) of green salad (no dressing) for lunch and grilled, fatless chicken breast and a lump of cheese and another ounce of green salad for dinner and no alcohol....my cats could have told them that almost all foods contain some carbs and one can eat tonnes of veggies and drink once out of induction. We all know that they were refering to Atkins but it was all so wrong - scaremongering!!!! - but they were okay to make someone do it for 2 weeks! (and marvel at the fact that the guinea pig had lost 7lb's in 1 day!!!) - so many mixed messages in the media and consequently in society...they should just READ THE BLUMMIN' BOOK!!!

Expect more of this in the next few weeks as the British medical establishment gears up for an all-out attack on the Atkins diet.

This happened in the States about five years ago, and it was just the same anti-low-carb myths being repeated ad nauseum. It'll blow over in a while.

I was interested that Zero-carb did not show up anything with regard to a diet. As you say sounds as if something is being mis represented. At least we know better and websites like this do try to help all make low carbing a totally healthy option.

It angers me also, If they wanna have there say or cause an argument read the BOOK research the subject proparly!!
I am sick of people looking at me as if I had grown a third eye when i say i have started Atkins!!
I had a girl say to me " oh be carefull I heard a man is now diabetic because of the Atkind Diet!!"
Oh really well i know somebody who is diabetic and dosent need her insulin ever since she has been l-c, so stick that in your pipe and smoke it!!
Sorry but i wish people would get their facts right before they think the are an expert on the subject!!
