Such a great thread! I really think that if we are hosting, we can be sure to prepare foods we love. And if we are guests, we can bring some foods as a hostess gift.

I am starting to tell people "no thanks, doctor's orders." When feeling pushed to eat something off plan. Also, I have list so much weight that it is fairly obvious that I must be being careful about what I eat.

Also, be sure to have on plan snacks to deal with cravings or being hungry when everyone else is snacking on potato chips and dip. Or whatever.

I almost had a small chocolate yesterday... Left behind by niece/nephews. I put it back (it wasn't dark chocolate). It is still sitting there. It has lost its power. I am way too happy about my weight loss to risk it!

So much food in the "real world" is poison. I am trying to learn to deal with that.
