I was drinking it daily in large quantities but still losing very fast. I've been trying to cut down to every few days though because soda can cause bone loss, and I have osteoperosis, so not a good thing.

I drink lots & lots of diet coke and very little else. I know it contravenes the dictates of every major diet out there, but I don't like water and so far, I'm losing fine with it.

I've been drinking it whenever the mood strikes. It's worked for me.

I drink 1 glass a day, usually, and oftentimes, more than that. Only rarely will I go a couple days without my diet soda! I just love it! I still get in plenty of water, green tea, and coffee (lol), but I just love my diet pepsi too much to not drink it! I don't have a problem with stalling from it either, so I guess I should count myself lucky! I'd hate to have to give it up.

I am lucky, I guess, that I can't stand the taste of diet drinks. I do drink about 4 cups of coffee in the morning, though, full caffeine, and am still losing. Also drink a cup or 2 of hot tea, and then lots of tap water.

Yep I drink diet soda. Diet Rite to be exact. It is sweetened with Splenda. Red Raspberry is my favorite flavor! I don't drink soda all the time though, because if I do then I won't drink any water. I actually usually just crave for just a swallow of soda and then I am satisfied with my soda fix. Soda shots.

I drink Diet Rite -- at the most 1 ni a day, more often 1 spread out over several days. I have another friend who low carbs and all she drinks is Diet Coke -- and she loses like the dickens.

I drink 5-8 Diet Dr. Peppers per day. Around 5 per day in the winter and double the amount in the summer. Water tastes great (Auqafina) or from my Brita filter pitcher but I get tired of it. I have tried tea, Crystal Light, Diet Cherry 7-Up, Fresca and many others but keep going back to Diet DP. Water is definitely cheaper and better for me though.

Yeah Diet Rite is the bomb. I try not to buy it though because I drink the whole thing in like two days (the twelve pack!)

And like Luna said, I will drink them instead of water if I do... it's good to know that they don't seem to stall anyone though.

Default Miss my Diet Coke!

Interesting posts - most folks don't seem to stall or gain when drinking a diet soda.

I'm down to one Diet Coke a day, which is cancelled if I have real (not decaf) coffee in the AM. I used to have a cuppa in the AM, followed by 2 diet cokes, one early AM, one PM. For me it's the carbonated fizz - which I've replaced with sugar-free flavored carbonated bevvies.

Has anyone here found they gain weight while drinking diet sodas?

I drink a coffee in the AM and sometimes after a meal if I am out, and maybe a Diet Rite per day. Regardless of coffee and soda, I drink 4 liters of water each day.
