Default Health Express LC Bread 1 Net Carb

Has anyone tried these 1 Net Carb LC Health Express Breads?

I've only seen one review on the net and it was good, but I'd like to see if I can get some more feedback on the product?

I can't believe all this time I've been ordering my products online only to find out there is a LC Store less than 5 miles away from me. So cool.

So anyway, before I stock up on the bread would like to get some feedback if I can.

Here's a link to the Health Express Breads. They sound yummy. I just pray they really are.

The bread looks great - but they want $24.95 shipping to send a loaf to me.

Yeah. It does look great doesn't it. Maybe you would be better off trying one of their large sampler bread packages to justify the shipping cost.

I'm very lucky to have them around the corner from me. Hey! Maybe I could buy it and then ship it to you. Just a thought. Well that's if your not in Canada or something.

Oh my goodness. All I can say is "wow"!

Oh my goodness. Oh. I just said that huh? lol

Man oh man is this bread *all* it claims to be.

I finally went to the Viva Low Carb store (actually it's a warehouse) and got this bread plus some other key LC items.

They had several different types (sesame seed, oat brand, flaxseed etc...). I chose the oat brand, but heck they all looked good.

I was gonna be a bit upset if after paying $8.00 bucks for a loaf of bread it taste like crap. I would hope it would at least be somewhat edible.

Fortunately, I got a very pleasant surprise and this bread is just *awesome*!

No funky after taste, good consistency, and it taste just like regular bread if not better, and only 1 net carb per slice...holy crap.

Very expensive for bread considering even when I wasn't LC I barely spent $2.75 for a loaf of bread. This loaf will definitely be savoured. I will freeze it and unthaw each slice as needed so it should last awhile...I hope.

However, this gets a total thumbs up and is worth every penny.

Wow! I can't believe I had a hotdog w/bread and mustard for lunch for only two carbs.

1 Oscar Meyer Premium No filler Beef Franks = 1 Carb
1 Slice Oat Bran Bread = 1 Carb
and a bit of Dijon Mustard

I'm in heaven.

I think the bread label lies. If you do the math, there are 10 calories unaccounted for. They have to have come from somewhere. It's the equivalent of an additional 2 1/2 grams of carbs.

I'm sorry Kisal, but it just isn't that serious for me. Even if it were an additional 2 1/2 carbs so what. 3 1/2 carbs for some awesome LC bread. That is something *I can* totally live with. May be different for others, but this is truly a good find.

I'm a bit tired right now, but tomorrow I'll list all the ingredients. This is *really* some high quality good and wholesome bread.

Okay...nite nite for now.

Oh, 2007. I didn't mean to throw a wet blanket on your find. I looked at the bread online, read the ingredients, etc., but I thought the discrepancy should be noted for the benefit of new members who might think they could use this on Induction.

I didn't mean to cause you upset.

Thank you for posting the nutrition label. Yep, each slice has 3.5, not 1 carbs. What they've done is round down the total carb level, which is probably closer to 15.5.

1g fat = 9 cal
15.5g carb = 62
12 g protein = 48

Total: 119 calories

I agree that 3.5 net carbs per slice of bread isn't bad, though, especiallly if it tastes as delicious as you've said it does.

It isn't bad? Yeah right. As Tony the Tiger would say "They're great"!

Finding LC bread this low ( 1 net carb or 3.5 net carbs) with great taste and texture this brand provides is awesome. All the LC ones I've pulled off the supermarket shelves are higher in carbs and *still* taste like sponge.

Orowheat. Man. I couldn't think of the brand before, but it finally popped in my head today. I guess because I passed by it while shopping today.

Anyway, that's what it taste like. This LC bread taste just like the Orowheat brand.

Hope that helps ya'll out.

Not really too high in carbs, I'd just be concerned that it would cause cravings because of the ingredients its made with. I've been down that road a few times...

So far so good, but I've only had 2 1/2 slices todate so we'll see once I make it at least 1/2 way through the loaf. I haven't had any problems with portion sizes though as I said only 2 1/2 slices during the week that I've had it which is surprising. I think I just like having it in the house and that it's there should I have a craving for bread.

Well, guess I'll figure it out once the month has pass. I'm working on dropping 15 to 20 lbs by the end of February so time will tell.
