Hey ladies just wondering about running, I have three wks before my first real 5k and wanted to know if I should do it 3x's a wk or 2 short runs (2-2.5miles) during the week and one 30 min run...Im getting really nervous!!! Another thought that comes to mind is the idea that Im gonna be the only thick lady running...please give me some 411???

I would continue to run 3x a week, perhaps a 4th run day if you can. Do 1 run longer than the other 2. What are you nervous for? You've done the work so you'll do just fine. I have found the running community to be one of the most supportive groups of people
