Dr Atkins did not state any specific amount of protein in his books, but a Dukes University analysis of his induction menus arrived at a ratio of 65% fat, 30% protein and 5% carbohydrates by calorie values.
I'm about two months into Atkins and i keep reading on forums about too much protein being converted into glucose and kicking one out of ketosis.
I'm currently doing adkins induction of his "New Diet Revolution," not Atkins20.
Do any of your veterans know the daily cap on protein I should be eating? i want to keep track so i don't spin my wheels.
