Default missed it at Cosco in Abbotsford

Well I missed the diet drink Talking rain they were out in Abby but did buy the sparkling flavored water. Was glad to see the plan one in a small bottle though as I have been experimenting with sparkling water and no sugar syrups for Italian soda's. My new one is so close to a Timmy's Ice Cap I may not miss them as much as I thought last Thursday when it was so hot. It's not caffeine free but this is what I've dreamed up

1/2 glass of crushed ice
about 1-2oz of very strong instant coffee (mixed some up and kept in fridge)
a splash of Atking Chocolate syrup
cream
then fill to top with sparking water
I added a bit of splenda to get closer to the sweetness of an ice cap but It WAS GREAT!!! Try it for a sweet cool treat.

That does sound good! I'll have to try it By "sparkling water", do you mean club soda or one of the Talking Rain flavoured ones?

Default carbonated water

It is carbonated water, safeway has a no name brand but they were out yesterday so I bought a name brand. It is hard to find. then I realized the "rain" has some plain in the case. I enjoy the carbonated water better than club soda as it does not have an after taste, and I find it more thirst quenching. It is really good with the italian soda mixes and not all the added salt.

Angry

Bought some of this product a couple of weeks ago at Costco and love it. Went to get some today, none to be had. The guy checked the computer and said there is only one store that has it in Canada right now, and that was Saskatoon!!!! He wasn't sure if it was a supply problem, or a buyer problem, or what.
Sure would like to have more!!

I just bought 3 cases of it here at the Costco in NE Edmonton. Hopefully they will continue stocking it. There were still a few left.

Default Calgary Costco has them

I recently went to the US and fell in love with these Sparkling Ice drinks. So today I phoned two Calgary Costco locations and they both have tons of stock. Heritage SW and Beacon Hill NW both have them. 270 cases is what they told me.

So I bought 10 cases of 24 each

Here's why I like them;
- adult flavour, not too sweet like Diet Mountain Dew (which I also like)
- if you are reducing alcohol you can sip these like a cooler / cider and pretend you are having a nice vodka-based drink
- they are carb free!
- they don't use aspartame which is a bonus

One note: the Costco cases of 24 only have 3 flavours; orange-mango, lime, and black-raspberry (or something like that). I would love to know where to get the other 5 flavours that they make (I tried those in the US and they were amazing).

Go to Costco Calgary and grab some!

Thanks to Costco too
