Are you referring to the Sugar-Free Chocolate Syrup?

I just bought that this past weekend at cash & Carry and thought it was the worst tasting thing I have tried in a long time. I'm trying to get rid of it - or it is going down the drain.

Bless your stomach - if this is what you are speaking of!

Anyone know where I can find "Nature's Own" bread in the Seattle/Redmond Washington area? Or any other "good" low carb bread around here?

The new Fred Meyer in Redmond, Trader Joes in Kirkland, PCC in Kirkland all have good bread. Of course, "good" is a matter of tatse. Oh - I have found some pretty low carb bread in Larry's in the town center.

Hello all! I hail from Spokane and seem to be the only one in my area so far! I'll have to spread the word a bit about the site. Lord knows there must be plenty of us here in town because my Planter's macadamia mix and Atkin's strawberry shakes are always low or sold out.

FYI, here's a thread that mentions some new stores in Seattle/Washington.

http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=143030

Anyone know if there are any low carb stores in Redmond yet? I know about Fred Meyer, GNC, etc.

Hey guys,

I just nailed down the address for the Simply Low Carb Grocery that is in the article mle_ii posted.

It's at 105 152nd Ave in Burien.

The phone # is 206-439-8313 and they're open until 7. I'm going to check it out tomorrow, so I'll let you guys know what I think.

Hi everyone

I live in Everett, and shop at Cash & Carry, Trader Joe's, Freddie's and Safeway. Also, any time I am in any other grocery store, I make it a point to ask to speak for the manager and ask him/her for LC products. A couple of them tell me they are going to expand their selection of LC products, so we'll see!

But I do think now that (after what, 30 years?) Atkins is becoming a "fad" that the LC selection is going to get better, and the prices will go down accordingly, don't you?

my $.01 worth

Gais/Franz bakeries make a low carb bread that's not bad, and has the advantage of being inexpensive. The GAis outlet stores sell it at 1.39 per loaf, it has 3-4 net carbs per slice and is vaguely reminiiscent of Roman meall. it's called 7-7-60.
It's also sold at QFC and Albertsons, but at a much higher price.

Here's a new low carb store on the Eastside. It's in Kirkland. I went in the other day and they had quite a selection, better than most other stores I've been into.

Here's the info:
TLC Foods
Totally Low Carb
12557 116th Ave. NE
Kirkland, WA 98034
(Near Long's Drug & McDonalds)
Hours: Monday-Friday 10-7 Saturday 10-6

Hello, I am on Whidbey Island looking for a buddy I have just begun Atkins and need some support. I am married to a man who can eat everything and not gain weight.
I need lots of support from fellow Atkins dieters. I am excited to meet new folks also.

Hello all,

I live in Belltown/Seattle and don't have a lot of grocery stores in my area. Thankfully, though, there's a Trader Joe's and a Safeway a couple miles away that are usually stocked with low carb treats.

Does anyone know where the nearest Cash & Carry is to Seattle? Sounds like I've gotta try this place...

Default West Seattle for me

I live in West Seattle, but I don't eat any low carb "products", not unless you call celery, cheese and green peppers low carb products! ...but I have been to the new "Simply low carb" shop in Burien and it is pretty thourough...they got an amazing collection of snack bars there as well as bread and other things.

Go shop there and help them stay put!

New Low Carb Store in Bellevue!! Low Carb Outlet opened a couple weeks ago. It is in the Overlake area down the street from Fred Meyer in the shopping Center where Ross is. Here is their address:

14339 N.E. 20th Street; Suite A

It's near Video Only!

Prices a re good on some things, a little high on others. They have great selection although they have only been open two weeks so it appears they are still sorting some things out.

Manna Mills in the So. Lynnwood area has a fairly good LC section. I REALLY like the low carb bagels from Low Carb Emporium, and they just started carrying Le Carb milk at 4.5 grams/ 8oz. Don't have the address handy, but it not far from the I-5 220th Ave exit on 60th--66th?? St.
