Question Water, water, water.........

OK, so I've read you need to drink at least 64 oz of water per day. Does anyone know if I can substitute club soda for the water???? Or how about tea with splenda instead of the water???? What do you all think - I really hate water.......

You really need the water....sorry. Tea (unless it is decafe) is actually dehydrating because of the caffeine whereas water is hydrating. There really is no subsitute IMO. I used to drink tea and regular coke all time and now drink water almost exclusively. It grows on you.

I remember reading elsewhere that club soda is fine because it's just water and CO2.

in the past, i was trying to drink water alternatives and either wasn't losing, or was losing very slowly. now, i've begun to drink 1 gallon of water per day and am noticing that this speeds weight loss up by some bit and helps the body to feel better, too. also? it increases the rate of exercise you get, as it keeps you headed to and from the bathroom throughout the day.
